Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.

Welcome Village Fourth Grader,
I am so excited to begin this adventure with you! Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to be teacher. I feel very lucky to get to do my dream job. I hope you learn something new everyday and when you are challenged you choose to persevere. I hope to inspire you, as I am sure you will inspire me. Most importantly, I promise to make learning fun!
This will be my fourth year at Village School. I had a fantastic first couple years at Village and look forward to having another terrific year! I have many passions. I am a proud Auntie to my nephews Gavin and Aidan. Aidan was born just recently in June. At three years old, Gavin does not love sharing the attention with his new brother! You will likely hear me talk about my silly dog Daisy. She is a five year old Wheaten Terrier and when she is not chasing after squirrels, we are going for runs on the beach. I love traveling to new places, architecture and design, listening to music, reading, dancing, swimming and creating fun art projects. I cannot wait to learn about all your passions!
I hope you are enjoying the summer and had a chance to read a couple fabulous books. We will be sharing our summer reading the first week of school. Please remember to read a minimum of three books, including, Katherine Applegate's Wishtree. I am eager to discuss the theme and character traits in the story. Most importantly enjoy this beautiful time of year with family and friends. I will see you at the end of August!
